Family Weekend

We had a fun weekend in Danville this past weekend. It was the first time we'd been in since Christmas so it was nice to see our family. Dad had a birthday last Friday so Jay and Sarah, Grandpa and Grandma, Jared and I all went in to celebrate. We had a big birthday meal on Saturday - salad, rolls, baked potato, steak, and Dairy Queen ice cream cake.
While we were all in together we went ahead and celebrated my birthday and Jared's birthday that are coming up in March. We had a cake that said Happy Birthday Dad, Fer and Jared. We posed with our picture and of course Dad stuck his finger in the cake. What a big kid! It was a great weekend.
We also got to open presents. Dad got money, gift card, and shirts. I got money and Fireproof. Jared got money. It was so much fun to spend time with everyone. We had to leave to come back to Charlottesville early. It started sleeting in Danville around 1:30 and we were worried we'd get snowed in. On the way home we saw six car accidents just in Danville. We got home around 5:00 and it started snowing as we came in town. Praise the Lord we made it home safely from our fun weekend. Now I'm enjoying a snow day!
