Go Commodores!

Wow! You wait and wait and wait. Then in a couple of seconds it all changes. No more waiting. No more wondering and playing what if. After almost 6 months of waiting, you know! Jared is in! He made it! He has been accepted to Vanderbilt. Here's how he felt about it!
It was such an exciting night. With the time change in Tennessee, it was 7:00 here before he finally got a phone call on Thursday night. His admissions counselor called. She told him she'd taken his application before the board for review and she had the privilege of telling him that he's accepted! Yahoo!
What an answer prayer. We got a letter in the mail and had to let our landlord know on March 10 if we were renewing our lease for next year. What do you do? We didn't know if we would be here and they wouldn't accepted maybe or yes and let us change it. So we told them no in faith that God would provide. Then two days later we heard from Vanderbilt! Praise the Lord! What an answer to prayer.
After we got the news at 7:00 we went for a walk to talk it out, celebrate, and get out some energy. Then the calls started. We talked with Jay and Sarah, Mom and Dad, and Judy. Then we shared our news with grandparents, aunts, and uncles. It was exciting to be able to tell everyone he'd gotten in. We are still praying for direction and Wake Forest in still in the works. Please keep praying for where we are going. We are so excited and so thankful for what God is doing!
