During the study for Black History month we also took time to learn about Abraham Lincoln and celebrate his birthday. While reading a story about Honest Abe one of my kids asked, "This Abraham, was he one of those brown men we've been talking about?"
Thankfully this wasn't one of my kids but a student asked one of the other kindergarten teachers, "So what are you going to do with that litter of babies in your belly?" The teacher wasn't pregnant!
