Well, it has definitely been a white Christmas for me. It started snowing on Friday afternoon and snowed through Saturday afternoon. We ended up with 8 inches of snow. It is beautiful and just happened to come on my Christmas weekend. We went to Mom and Dad's this weekend with my brother, sister-in-law, and niece to do our family Christmas.
We spent a good bit of time playing in the snow. We built snowmen, wrote in the snow, and wrestled in the snow. Saturday night Dayla opened her gifts and then after she went to sleep we opened our presents. Then we had a huge Christmas meal on Sunday. It was a very special Christmas. We were all at home, it snowed, and it was our first Christmas with Dayla. It was a memorable one.

Then on Sunday afternoon our men left to go hunting. Dad, Jay, and Jared headed out with a truck load of stuff to camp, eat, and hunt in the snow for 2 days. They are doing some deer hunting and having some quality man time. Meanwhile, we are snuggled in nice and warm at home watching Christmas movies. It has been a very special Christmas!

I can't believe they'd rather be hunting than inside warm with their women! Crazy! That's an awesome snowman!
