We went on our first field trip for this school year. We went to the Children's Museum on Tuesday. The kids did good and had a great time. Thankfully, there were three chaperones who volunteered to go with my class since none of my parents could/would go. So a tutor from school and two ladies from church came to help me out. We each had 5 kids in our group and it went well.
We got to play in a Food Lion and even in the Krispy Kream doughnut factory. Then we played in the Clifford exhibit and the kids got to be vets, mailmen, musicians, and chefs. Then we took a lunch break and went to hear a Clifford story and do a craft. Next we went to the Amazing Library and Build It. There were so many things to build and play with. We ended with the best part of the trip. We climbed up Jack's Beanstalk to get to the Enchanted Forest.
It was a good trip and I am so thankful for the chaperones who went and for the kids' good behavior. It was a fun field trip!
