Jared and I went to Virginia Beach this past week for vacation. It was so nice. It only rained one day and the rest of the week we had beautiful weather. We had never been to Virginia Beach before but we really liked it. The boardwalk and bike trail on the oceanfront are great. We rented bicycles and rode from one end of the beach to the other. One night we rented two bicycles and another night we rented a two-seater surrey. It was so hard to pedal but fun. We walked on the beach, laid in the sun, and swam in the pool even though the water was pretty chilly. We went to the pier, and played putt-putt at Jungle Golf (the same place we played the night before Christa and Travis' wedding). We even got to go eat at Captain George's. Jared ate tons of seafood from the buffet but I ate normal food and they have tons of desserts. We even got up at early one morning to watch a sunrise. It was nice to get away for a week, sleep, relax, and spend time together. What a blessing. God provided a great vacation for us, gave us nice weather, and kept up safe.
It was a fabulous week and we are thankful to be home safely.
